Tucked away on the secluded lower level of the estate, this unique room offers the ultimate quiet escape with a deep, immediate connection to nature. Far from the main corridors, this earthy sanctuary features direct, walk-out access to our lush back garden. Simply open your door and step straight out into the crisp morning air, where sweeping, unobstructed views of the misty mountains serve as your personal backdrop.

Because of its grounded location within our stone architecture, the room stays naturally cool and exceptionally quiet. It is an ideal hideaway for those seeking deep, uninterrupted rest after days spent on the rugged trails. Enjoy the luxury of brewing a fresh cup of organic Darjeeling tea and walking right out onto the grass to watch the sunrise over the valley.

Room Features & Amenities:

  • Private Garden Walk-Out: Direct, ground-level access to the tranquil back garden right from your door.
  • Mountain Vistas: Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape just steps outside your room.
  • Deep Quiet & Seclusion: Positioned away from the main foot traffic, offering a profoundly peaceful and restorative atmosphere.
  • The Sleep Experience: Outfitted with plush bedding, premium linens, and our signature handwoven village crochet blankets to keep you warm on cool mountain nights.

House Rules

  • Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. This allows our team enough time to thoroughly clean and prepare the rooms for our next arrivals.
  • Embracing the Mountain Peace
Many of our guests travel here to escape the noise of the city or to recover after long treks. We kindly request that all guests observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM in all rooms and shared corridors.
  • Care for the Heritage
We take pride in our local craftsmanship, from the pristine linens to the handwoven village crochet blankets. We kindly request that heavily soiled trekking boots or gear be left in the designated entryway and not brought onto the carpets or beds.
  • Dining Etiquette
To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and avoid attracting local wildlife, we ask that meals be enjoyed in our designated dining areas or outdoor seating spaces, rather than in the beds.
  • Conservation
We deeply respect our natural surroundings. Please help us conserve resources by turning off lights, televisions, and hot water geysers when leaving your room.
  • Smoke-Free Interiors
To preserve the fresh mountain air and the natural scent of our wood and stone interiors, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and bathrooms. You are welcome to smoke in designated open-air outdoor areas.
